Antarctica– First comprehensive review of the state of climate

The first comprehensive review of the state of Antarctica’s climate and its relationship to the global climate system was published Tuesday 1 December by the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR). The report concentrates the influence and the consequences from the warming of the Antarctica, the melting ice, the effects on animals and plants, the increase of CO2 and the role of men in this process.
