J/70, Melges 20 - Sportboat Winter Series - Act 5 - Monaco MON - Final results

 J/70, Melges 20 - Sportboat Winter Series - Act 5 - Monaco MON - Final results Good conditions prevailed on the closing day of the 2019 Sportboat Winter Series in Monaco allowing to catch up in the program to finally complete 5 races after 3 days.
Marshall King IRL finished first in the J/70 ahead of Nicolas Anklin SUI and Sergey Sobololev RUS. 41 teams sailing. Crew on the Brazil boat of Mario Soerensen BRA was the Starboat Olympic Champion Marcelo Ferreira BRA. The updated overall ranking list was not yet available at press deadline this morning UTC.
The overall winner of the 2019 Sportboat Series is Ludovico Fassitelli MON.
First in the small Melges 20 fleet was Alexander Mikhailyk RUS.

 J/70, Melges 20 - Sportboat Winter Series - Act 5 - Monaco MON - Final results, the Swiss Good conditions prevailed on the closing day of the 2019 Sportboat Winter Series in Monaco allowing to catch up in the program to finally complete 5 races after 3 days.
Marshall King IRL finished first in the J/70 ahead of Nicolas Anklin SUI and Sergey Sobololev RUS. With Stefan Seger SUI on 4th, Tom Studer SUI on 5th and Bruno Zeltner SUI on 9th, the Swiss performance was remarkable among the 41 teams. Crew on the Brazil boat of Mario Soerensen BRA was the Starboat Olympic Champion Marcelo Ferreira BRA. The overall ranking list was not yet available at press deadline this morning UTC.
The overall winner of the 2019 is Ludovico Fassitelli MON.

J/70, Melges 20 - Sportboat Winter Series, Act 5 - Monaco MON - Day 2

 J/70, Melges 20 - Sportboat Winter Series, Act 5 - Monaco MON - Day 2 No information was posted on the event website of the Monaco Sportboat Series this morning, where the final Round is underway. As the Dragons not far away in San Remo were sailing yesterday, the J/70s and Melges20 should have been on the water as well. The only 'information' on the event facebook page is a report on the visit of the past Formula-1 World Champion Nico Rosberg GER at the clubhouse.
One race was sailed on the opening day with Stefan Seger SUI and his team winning in the J/70 , and Pavel Gracev RUS in the Melges20 .

 J/70, Melges 20 - Sportboat Winter Series, Act 5 - Monaco - Day 1 Light winds only prevailed on the opening day of the Monaco Sportboats Winter Series, the last event of this competition and just one race per fleet could be completed. Stefan Seger SUI and his team finished first in the J/70s ahead of Ludovico Fassitelli MON and Lorenz Müller SUI. 44 teams from 11 nations. The J/70 ranking list.
Only five teams compete in the Melges 20 and the first three of race one were the teams of Pavel Gracev RUS ahead of Alex Mikhaylik RUS and Anatoly Karachinskiy MON. The Melges 20 ranking list.

 J/70, Melges 20 - Sportboat Winter Series, Act 5 - Monaco - Day 1, the Swiss Light winds only prevailed on the opening day of the Monaco Sportboats Winter Series, the last event of this competition. Just one race per fleet could be completed with good results for the Swiss participants. Stefan Seger SUI and his team finished first in the J/70s ahead of Ludovico Fassitelli MON and Lorenz Müller SUI. With Nicolas Anklin SUI as 5th and Jean-Luc Leveque SUI as 11th, the total SUI performance was remarkable among the 44 teams from 11 nations.
