 Ice-Sailing - DN European Championship 2020 - Orsasjön SWE - Final Day - No Racing On the last day of the DN Ice Sailing European Championship on Lake Orsa SWE, the wind finally filled in after three windless days, but rising temperatures during the night damaged the ice and racing had to be cancelled.  Ice-Sailing - DN World Championship - Orsasjön SWE - Final results No wind on the final day of the DN Ice Sailing World Championship on Lake Orsa in Sweden and the title goes therefore after four races to Lukasz Zakrszewski POL, the 9th consecutive Polish victory of this Championship. Karol Jablonski POL earned Silver, Anton Didenko RUS Bronze. ----- All ranking lists of the three fleets and the report with video. ----- Today begins the European Championship at the same venue.

No wind on the final day of the DN Ice Sailing World Championship on Lake Orsa in Sweden and the title goes therefore after four races to Lukasz Zakrszewski POL, the 9th consecutive Polish victory of this Championship. Karol Jablonski POL earned Silver, Anton Didenko RUS Bronze. The only of the 9 Swiss participants who qualified for the Goldfleet - Jean-Claude Vuithier - finished 26th. ----- All ranking lists of the three fleets and the report with video. ----- Today begins the European Championship at the same venue.

 Ice-Sailing - DN European Championship - Orsasjön SWE - Day 1 Lukasz Zakrzsewski POL was the only DN pilot managing the unconstant and very shifty wind conditions as well as the melting wet ice at the DN-Icesailing Europeans on Lake Orsa in Sweden, finishing twice on the second rank. Anton Didenko RUS and Jarek Radzki POL are the first challengers. The favorites Karol Jablonski POL (1/19) and Tomasz Zakrzsewski POL (1/16) however had both the first downers.  Ice-Sailing - DN European & World Championship - Orsasjön SWE - Start today The first starts at the DN Ice Sailing European Championship in Sweden have been planned for today UTC. During the next two days, 140 participants from 17 nations will be racing for the Europeans title. The World Championship will be held back to back on the same ice as from Wednesday. ----- Racing can be followed beginning at 11h UTC over GPS tracking. ----- It remains to be seen whether the competition will begin today, as cracks in the ice were reported yesterday.

 Ice-Sailing - DN European & World Championship - Orsasjön SWE, the Swiss The start to the 2020 World and European Championships has once more been postponed on Monday, as the search for good ice was more difficult than expected. The chosen venue is eventually the Lake Orsasjön North of Stockholm. ----- 140 entrants from 17 nations, including the USA, are on the list of participants, among them a big Swiss team. ----- The event website.

 Ice-Sailing - DN European & World Championship - Sweden 140 participants from 17 nations, among them a very strong Polish delegation, lead by the mulitple champion Karol Jablonski POL, an experienced USA team, the successful British Olympia Coach David Howlett GBR and more will start at the DN Iceboating World and European Championships, beginning on the coming weekend in Northern Sweden, where the appropriate ice has finally been found. For logistic reasons, the first start has been postponed to Monday. ----- The news. ----- Over the past weekend, part of the fleet was racing at the Germany Cup on Lake Reschen ITA.  Ice-Sailing - DN European & World Championship - Sweden, the Swiss 140 participants from 17 nations, among them a very strong Polish delegation, lead by the mulitple champion Karol Jablonski POL, an experienced USA team, the successful British Olympia Coach David Howlett GBR, will start at the DN Iceboating World and European Championships, beginning on the coming weekend in Northern Sweden, where the appropriate ice has finally been found.
