29er - World Championship 2018 - Hong Kong HKG - Final results - both titles for New Zealand

 29er - World Championship 2018 - Hong Kong HKG - Final results - both titles for New Zealand Four races were held on the last day of the 29er World Championship in Hongkong.
With a row of top-4 races, Francesco Kayrouz/Jackson Keon NZL took the title of the 2018 29er World Champions with an 8 points' advantage on Lachie Brewer/Max Paul AUS. At equal points on the ranks 3 and 4 followed Benjamin Jaffrezic/Léo Chauvel FRA and Théo Revil/Gautier Guevel FRA. David Eastwood/Samuel Merson (USA), finishing seventh overall, were the top North Americans amid the 58-boat field.
Crystal Sun/Olivia Hobbs, who were the only girls to make the cut into the gold fleet, finished 21st overall and took the title as top female team.

 29er - World Championship 2018 - Hong Kong HKG - Final results, Swiss participants ? Four races were held on the last day of the 29er World Championship in Hongkong.
With a row of top-4 races, Francesco Kayrouz/Jackson Keon NZL took the title of the 2018 29er World Champions with an 8 points' advantage on Lachie Brewer/Max Paul AUS. At equal points on the ranks 3 and 4 followed Benjamin Jaffrezic/Léo Chauvel FRA and Théo Revil/Gautier Guevel FRA. David Eastwood/Samuel Merson (USA), finishing seventh overall, were the top North Americans amid the 58-boat field.

No Swiss teams participated, but at least, the Bronze medalist Benjamin Jaffrezic FRA has some Swiss DNA as son of the former 420 Swiss Youth Champion Nathalie Rouiller SUI.

 29er - World Championship 2018 - Hong Kong HKG - Day 5 The Final Series at the 29er World Championship are being held this morning UTC in Honkong with Gold- and Silverfleets. Two of the four races planned - to be followed over GPS tracking live - have already been completed. No results or information is available neither on the event facbook page nor the event website for the moment. Leading after the four Qualification Series heats were Calum Gregor/Jon Crawford HKG.

29er - World Championship 2018 - Hong Kong HKG - Day 3

 29er - World Championship 2018 - Hong Kong HKG - Day 3 No racing was possible on the first day of the 29er World Championship in Hongkong due to too stormy wind. Yesterday, still in a fresh breeze, four races were completed. Benjamin Jaffrezic/Leo Chauvel FRA took the overall lead with two race wins, followed by Henry Larkings/Miles Davey AUS and Lachie Brewer/Max Paul AUS on the ranks 2 and 3. 58 teams from 12 nations participate.
Racing today is already underway - four heats are planned - and the currently updated ranking list informs on the standings with final results of the Qualification Series by noon. As from tomorrow, the Championship will continue with the Finals in Gold- and Silverfleets.
