The RC-44 season kicked off on the Bermudas yesterday with the usual matchrace day. The Russian 'Bronenosec' of Vladimir Liubomirov RUS with Michele Ivaldi ITA as tactician won with a 5-1 score ahead of 'Artemis' (Torbjörn Tornquist SWE/Francesco Bruni ITA) and 'Team Aqua' (Chris Bake GBR/Cameron Appleton NZL) with 4-2 each.
