Finn - European Championship 2016 - Barcelona ESP - first start

The Finn European Championship in Barcelona began yesterday with the Practice Race sailed in a 15 kn breeze. Max Kohlhoff GER was in the lead at the first upwind mark, passed by Josh Junior NZL on the downwind before - as usual - the whole fleet of 90 participants from 31 nations and 4 continents returned ashore. The wind forecast for the coming days is very light. In absence of the high flyer Giles Scott GBR, the most cited favorites are Ivan Klijakovic CRO, Ed Wright GBR or Josh Junior NZL.
