GC32-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 1 - Muscat OMN - Day 3

Light and patchy winds prevailed on the third day of the Oman Extreme Sailing Series and the 8 GC32 cats were barely lifted out of the water. 'Oman Air' with Morgan Larson USA continued winning and extended her overall lead to an extent that all but an overall victory today would be a major surprise. The second-best team of the day was the Turkish 'Turx' with Stevie Morrison GBR advancing on rank 6 overall. The fight for the other two podium places behind the Omanis will be tight as 'SAP Sailing Team' with Jes Gram-Hansen DEN is only 3 points ahead of the 'BAR Racing Team' with Leigh McMillan GBR, and 'Alinghi' with Ernesto Bertarelli SUI follows only one point behind.
