World Sailing - Annual Conference 2016 - Barcelona ESP - 07-11-2016

Presentations and Committee Meetings continued yesterday at the WS Annual Conference in Barcelona. Key was a presentation of the World Sailing CEO Andy Hunt on the new strategy of the Federation with the motto 'Our sustainable future'. Here the report. What about the implementation ? Consequences for sailing world-wide ..... if any ?? Or is it only window-dressing for the IOC ?
Let's speak about basics as a very necessary submission to reduce the number of coach boats in Worldcup events and international Championships will be on vote. With over 400 units, the coach boats are sometimes the 'most popular Olympic class' !
