GC32-Catamaran - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 8 - Sydney AUS - Day 1

The final Act of the Extreme Sailing Series began today in Sydney, the crucial event to determine the winner of the 2016 annual championship. Before the last races, 'Oman Air' with Morgan Larson USA has been in the lead 5 points ahead of 'Alinghis' (Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI). In the first three races this morning, 'Alinghi' started furiously with the ranks 1/2/1. With the wind increasing to 29 kn and the capsizes of the teams 'BAR' and 'Visit Madeira', the race director decided to cancel racing for the day. 'Alinghi' leads 3 points ahead of 'Oman Air'.
