Olympic Classes, 29er, 420, Europe - Christmas Race - Palamos ESP - Final results

The Palamos Christmas Race, held mostly in windy conditions, was concluded yesterday with the Medal Races.
Jordy Xammar/Nicolas Rodriguez ESP finished first in the 470 men closely ahead of Shvets/Matsujew UKR and Diesch/Autenrieth GER. In the 470 women, Cassandra Blandin/Aloise Retornaz FRA were the clear winners ahead of Silvia Mas Depares/Paula Barcelo ESP and Charlotte Yven/Marine Riou FRA. Winning the 49er Medal Race, Kevin Fischer/Yann Jauvin FRA climbed on rank 1 overall. In the 49ersFX, the superior first were Jeske Kisters/Robin Becker NED. Dominator in the Finns was Facundo Oleatta ARG. The Laser Standard podium remained unchanged with Sergey Kommissarov RUS on top ahead of Duko Bos CRO and Filip Ciszkiewicz POL. No changes in the Lasers Radial either with Francesca Clapcich ITA as first ahead of Maxime Jonker NED and Tatjana Droszdovskaja BLR. Thanks to better race ranks, Rafael De La Hoz ESP broke the tie in the Laser-Radial-Boys leaving Matias Sabate ESP on rank 2.
