Optimist - Trofeu Vila de Palamos - Palamos ESP - Day 1

With 536 Optimists from 23 nations and 3 continents, the Optimist Palamos Trophy has once again a top attendance. Yesterday, all 5 Groups sailed the scheduled 3 races each in sun and moderate 8 to 11 kn winds. The first overall leader is Alberto Morales ESP (ranks 2/2/2), one point ahead of Maria Perello ESP, first girl and first in the U12 rankings. Another 2 points behind are Paul Clodi AUT and Maxime Thommen SUI at equal points on rank 3.
