Windsurfing PWA World Tour Freestyle, Slalom Fuerteventura Day 5, Offringa NED Women's Freestyle World Champion
The Freestyle women's part of the Fuerteventura Grandslam was concluded yesterday with the Final, and from today on, the Men's Slalom competition is on the program.
Sara-Quita Offringa NED (Aruba) and Maaike Huvermann NED delivered a high-level duel with Offringa winning by a small margin, grasping her 10th Freestyle World Champion's title in a row. Maaike Huvermann, age 19, will definitely compete for top ranks in the years to come.
In the Slalom Worldcup races, the veteran Antoine Albeau FRA is leading and he will hardly be defeated in the fresh winds on Fuerteventura announced for next days.
