Optimist - European Championship 2017 - Bourgas BUL - Final results - Gold for Serbia and Argentina

The first Optimist European Championship organised in Bulgaria ended yesterday with two races.
The Argentinian Donna Mazzucchella ARG dominated in the Girls right from the beginning and finished as superior winner with a 26 points' advantage. As best European, India Page-Wood GBR on rank 2 earned the official European Champion's title. Natascha Rast SUI followed on rank 3 (Europeans' Silver). Johanna Schmidt AUT with the same number of points on rank 4 grasped Europeans' Bronze.
Stefan Yuill SRB takes the European Champion's title in the Boys, the first international title for Serbia. Igor Kuczys POL and Iakovos-Dimitrios Dedes Ntentopoulos GRE get Silver and Bronze.
