In the Dragons, Norbert Stadler SCSG defended his first place ahead of Ivan Bradbury GBR. Anatoly Loginov RUS, one of the favorites in the European Championship to be held at the same venue in a week, advanced on rank 3 at the end of the regatta.
In the Ynglings, Thomas Beck TYC finished first ahead of Jürg Wenger TYC.
