49er, 49erFX - World Championship 2017 - Matosinhos POR - Day 5

Refreshening trade winds provided for big waves and much spectacle to an extent that the 49er could not sail in the afternoon.
The 49ersFX sailed three races and only Jena-Mai Hansen/Katja Salskov DEN remained without capsize. They lead overall 5 points ahead of Alexandra Maloney/Molly Meech NZL. Another 2 points behind are Martine Grael/Kahena Kunze BRA still with chances for the title. As from today, racing will continue with the best 20 teams in the Goldfleet.
The 49ers' leaders are Dylan Fletcher/Stuart Bithell GBR 4 points ahead of Diego Botin/Iago Lopez ESP, Justus Schmidt/Max Böhme GER and James Peters/Flynn Sterritt GBR all at equal points.
