Yesterday, François Gabart FRA with his Maxi-Trimaran 'Macif' passed Cape Leeuwin, the most southwestern point of Australia, in the new solo record time of 19 days and 14 hours from the start in France to the second of the three Capes to round. Today, he will reach Tasmania and enter the Pacific Ocean. His advantage on the record this morning was 626nm, the average speed 31,5kn....and the sleep time 4h.
