Olympic & Youth Classes - Christmas Race - Palamos ESP - Day 3

After a windless morning, a fresh Tramontana of up to 30kn filled in at the Costa Brava. Except the 49ers, all classes sailed one race with many capsizes and equipment damages.
In the 470 men, Simon Diesch/Philipp Autenrieth GER remained on top, but thanks to race win, Jordi Xammar/Nicolas Rodriguez ESP reduced the backlog on 2 points. Inspite of a premature start, Jennifer Poret/Camille Hautefaye FRA defended rank 2 in the 470 women.
In the Finn, Alejandro Musact ESP and Alessio Spadoni ITA share the lead. The winner of the day Nils Theuninck SUI advanced on rank 5 overall.
In the Olympic women's skiff 49erFX, the men dominated (Open rankings). Martin Mikkola/Markus Ihamuotila FIN increased their lead with a race win. Carlotta Omari/Matilda Di Stefano ITA on rank 2 follow 9 points behind.
With a race win, Frank Lavenant FRA moved on top of the Lasers Standard, in the Lasers Radial the World Champion Allison Young GBR leads 2 points ahead of Maria Erdi HUN. In the Radials men, Pere Panseti ESP is first the a 21 points' advantage.
