Olympic & Youth Classes - Christmas Race - Palamos ESP - Day 4

Fresh winds prevailed in Palamos ESP again yesterday, final day of the Qualification races. Today, the Olympic Classes will held their Medal Races.
In the 470 men, Simon Diesch/Philipp Autenrieth GER and Jordy Xammar/Nicolas Rodriguez ESP 3 points behind will battle for victory. In the 470 women, Jennifer Poret/Camille Hautefaye FRA have a solid 12 points' advantage and will hardly be in danger from the 2nd-ranked Bárbara Cornudella/Sara Ravetllat ESP.
In the 49ers, the situation is fully open, as Simone Ferrarese/Valerio Galati ITA and Tomas Mads Mathisen NOR share the lead and the first seven are separated by 6 points only. In the 49erFX, two Italian team fight for the overall win: Carlotta Omari/Matilda Distefani ITA are 3 points ahead of Francesca Bergamo/Jana Germani ITA.
In the Finns, Alejandro Muscat ESP and Deniss Karpak EST share the lead.
In the Lasers Standard, Filip Ciszkiewicz POL and Daniel Whittely GBR are first at equal points. In the Lasers Radial, the final decision for victory will be between the World Champion Allison Young GBR and Maria Erdi HUN 2 points behind.
The Youth classes continue the competition with last fleetraces. In the 420s, Wichy Hernandez/Nacho Balaguer ESP are on top.
