As a tune-up to the A-Cat World Championship beginning on the coming weekend in Hervay Bay AUS, the Australian National Championship is underway. Most top favorites are participating with the fleet - for the first time - split in an Open (foiling) and a Classic (without foils) fleet.
Glen Ashby AUS leads in the Open rankings with two bullets ahead of Darren Bundock AUS and Mischa Heemskerk NED. 50 participants.
In the Classic rankings, Andrew Landenberger AUS won 3 of the 4 heats. Scott Anderson AUS and Alberto Farnesi SWE are the first challengers. 36 starters.
