Around the World Record - Trophée Jules Verne - Spindrift - Day 5

After a speedy race crossing the North Atlantic south-bound, the 140-Foot Maxi-Trimaran 'Spindrift' will cross the Equator this morning UTC after less than 5 days, a new absolute record. The innertropical convergence zone ahead seems to be accommodating for Yann Guichard FRA and his team, as the difficult area to pass is rather small this time.
