Light, inconsistent winds made for challenging racing in Oman yesterday. ----- The 49ers sailed again 3 races, with Ganapathy Kelapanda Chengappa/Varun Ashok Thakkar IND extending their lead to 9 points. Hong Wei/Chao Xiang CHN moved up to second place as best of the day. ----- In the 49ersFX, Chen Shasha/Ye Jin CHN reclaimed the top place ahead of Molly Highfield/Sandy Wing Chi Choi HKG 5 points behind in second. ----- In the Lasers Radial, Nethra Kumanan IND held on to the top spot, with Emma Savalon NED only 2 points back. ----- In Lasers Standard, Ryan Lo Jun Han SGP extended his lead over Vishnu Saravanan IND to 14 points. ----- In the RS:X Windsurfers, Natthapong Phonoppharat THA continues to pull away at the top in front of Yancy Kaibigan PHI now 15 points behind in 2nd. ----- In the female Windsurfers, Amanda Ng Ling Kai SGP moved into the lead for the first time, but Charizanne Napa PHI is only one point behind. ----- The final qualifying races are scheduled for today, followed by the Medal Races tomorrow. ----- All rankings and the daily report.
