 Laser Standard & Radial - Master World Championship - Port Zelande NED - Final results The Laser World Masters in the Netherlands were concluded yesterday in light winds, allowing the Standards to complete the planned two races in the morning in a 5-7kn wind, while the Radial in the afternoon had to content themselves with just one race. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Dave Ridley NZL replaced the tied Edoardo Van Vianen NED on top of the Apprentices (35-45). No changes occurred - as expected - in all other age categories. The winners are Serge Kats NED Masters (45-55), Carlos Martinez ESP Grand Masters (55-65), Wolfgang Gerz GER Great Grand Masters (65-75). ----- In the Lasers Radial, the winners are Jon Emmett GBR Apprentices, Scott Leigh NZL Masters, Gilles Coadou FRA Grand Masters, Jeff Loosemore AUS Great Grand Masters, Kerry Waraker AUS Legends. ----- The event website with all Ranking lists and the final report.

 Laser Standard & Radial - Master World Championship - Port Zelande NED - Day 5 Two more races were sailed yesterday at the Laser World Masters in the Netherlands in a 10kn wind, and in a number of class categories, preliminary decisions have been made before the final races of today. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Wolfgang Gerz GER has a 12 point lead in the Great Grand Masters (65-75) and also Carlos Martinez ESP with a 23 point advantage in the Grand Mastern (55-65) can hardly be removed from the top. Even 33 points is the advance of Serge Kats NED in the Standard Masters (45-55). Patrick Fleischhacker SUI progressed on rank 17, Robert Ronnback SUI follows just behind on rank 18. Only in the Standard Apprentices (35-45), the outcome is open as the first three - Van Vianen NED, West ESP and Scott NZL - are separated by 2 points only. ----- In the Lasers Radial, Scott Leigh NZL in the Masters (45-55), Jeff Loosemore AUS in the Great Grand Masters (65-75) and Jon Emmett GBR in the Apprentices (35-45) are on y solid course towards the title.  Laser Standard & Radial - Master World Championship 2019 - Port Zelande NED - Day 2 All fleets completed again two races yesterday in moderate winds around 10kn, with the worst result discarded at the end of the day. ----- In the Lasers Radial, Jon Emmet GBR is first in the Apprentices (age 35-45) with three race wins. Peter Seidenberg USA has taken the lead in the Legends (75+). In the largest fleet, the Radial Grand Master (55-65), Kim Tan NED replaced Gilles Coadou FRA on top of the rankings. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Serge Kats NED extended his lead in the Masters (45-55). The new leader in the Grand Masters (55-65) is Carlos Martinez ESP, tied with Thomas Nordquist SWE on 2nd. Peter Seidenberg USA has taken the lead in the Legends (75+). In the largest fleet, the Radial Grand Master (55-65), Kim Tan NED replaced Gilles Coadou FRA on top of the rankings. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Serge Kats NED extended his lead in the Masters (45-55). Patrick Fleischacker SUI advanced on the 14th place. The new leader in the Grand Masters (55-65) is Carlos Martinez ESP, tied with Thomas Nordquist SWE on 2nd. The 146 Radials are sailing in five age categories (including 'Legends' age over 75), the 150 Standards are respresented in four categories. ---- In the largest fleet, the Laser Standard Masters (age 45-55), Serge Kats NED leads ahead of Brett Beyer AUS. Patrick Fleischhacker SUI is 14th among the 62 participants. ----- Most Radials are in the Grand Masters fleet (55-65), where Gilles Coadou FRA won both races and stays on top ahead of Wilmar Goenendijk NED and Martin Van Olffen NED. ----- In the Great Grand Masters (65-75), Robert Lowndes AUS occupies the first place. Jean-Luc Dreyer SUI is 14th, Jacques Perret SUI 16th among the 29 participants. ----- 12 Legends (75 up) are racing with Kerry Waraker AUS on first ahead of Peter Seidenberg USA. ----- In the Laser Standard Grand Masters, Tomas Nordquist SWE is on top followed by Miguel Noguer ESP.
