Olympic & Youth Classes - Hellenic Sailing Week - Athens GRE - Day 5, Nicolas Rolaz SUI

 Olympic & Youth Classes - Hellenic Sailing Week - Athens GRE - Day 5, Nicolas Rolaz SUI No wind, now racing yesterday in Athens and the final outcome will be decided in the Medal Races today. Leader in the largest fleet, the Laser Standard, is Anastassios Panagiotidis GRE, 8 points behind the leader, Nicolas Rolaz SUI on 4th is qualified for the Medal Race as well. ----- The event website with all ranking lists (15 classes in total) and the event facebook page.

 Olympic & Youth Classes - Hellenic Sailing Week - Athens GRE - Day 3 Rain impeded the seabreeze yesterday and racing was cancelled for the day. ----- Herewith, the Youth Classes concluded their competition and only the Olympic Classes will continue with their races until Saturday. ----- In the by far largest class with 356 boats, the Optimists, Dimitrios Bitros GRE finished first. ----- All results on the event website. Olympic & Youth Classes - Hellenic Sailing Week - Athens GRE - Day 3, the Swiss

 Olympic & Youth Classes - Hellenic Sailing Week - Athens GRE - Day 3, the Swiss Rain impeded the seabreeze yesterday and racing was cancelled for the day. ----- Herewith, the Youth Classes concluded their competition and only the Olympic Classes will continue with their races until Saturday. ----- In the Optimists, Dimitrios Bitros GRE finished first with Stach Vleeshowers SUI on the excellent 3rd place. Samuel Berther SUI followed as 5th and Simon Mile SUI as 11th among thee 356 participants. ----- The only Swiss still active will be Nicolas Rolaz SUI in the Lasers Standard. After 3 races, he is well placed on rank 3 only 2 points behin the leading Pantelis Kyrpoglou GRE. ----- All results on the event website. Since Monday, the International Hellenic Sailing Week has been underway with partly large fleets. ----- In the Optimists, 5 races were sailed so far in a moderate seabreeze with Dimitrios Bitros GRE on first ahead of Stefanos Tsakos GRE. At equal points follow on rank 3 Stach Vleeshowers SUI, Evagelos Koukoudis GRE and Samuel Berther SUI. 356 participants from 5 nations. ----- In the 420s, Melina Pappa/Maria Tsamopoulou GRE have been dominating with 3 bullets in 4 races. 35 teams participate. ----- In the Lasers Standard, Pantelis Kyrpoglou GRE and Dimitris Papadimitriou GRE share the lead 2 points ahead of Anastasios Panagiotidis GRE and Nicolas Rolaz SUI on the ranks 3 and 4. ----- A top-level fleet is sailing in the Finns: After 4 races, Beresz Zsombor HUN is on rank 1 ahead of Ioannis Mitakis GRE and Joan Cardona ESP. ------ 15 Olympic and Youth Classes are present. ----- The event website with all ranking lists.
