Star World Championship 2016 Miami FL, USA Day 4, the Swiss
Lay day in Miami yesterday at the Starboat World Championship 2016. Today, the crucial phase will begin with three more, as always at the Star Worlds, very long races per day (first upwind 2,2 miles). The second half of the Event will most probably take place in rather light winds. On pole position are undoubtedly the local Augie Diaz USA with his Brazilian crew Bruno Prada BRA, double Olympic medalist with Robert Scheidt BRA and successful Finn sailor. They lead Overall with an 8 points advance on Diego Negri/Sergio Lambertenghi ITA. The best Swiss Chatagny/Pulfer SUI are on the remarkable 17th place among the 70 participants from 13 nations.
The results and the reports.
