The World Sailing Worldcup in Hyères FRA is for the Swiss Olympic Team an important interim's stage in the preparation for Rio.
To qualify for the Medal Race must be the objective of Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI in the 470 women. The 470 men Yannick Brauchli/Romuald Hausser SUI will feel at home in today's windy conditions. They were one of the few teams sailing in the fresh Mistral yesterday. Mateo Sanz-Lanz SUI is among the World's best windsurfers in light winds. This time, he has the opportunity to sharpen his skills in the big breeze keeping the pace of the fastest.
The Swiss development team members David Biedermann/Max Haenssler SUI (470), the two Laser Radial sailors Maud Jayet SUI and Lucie Ben-Amor SUI as well as the 49er of Sébastien Schneiter/Lucien Cujean SUI have to chance to race with the world-ranking's best in this event reserved for the limited number athletes only.
