420, 29er, 5o5, Laser, Pirat - Young European Sailing (YES) - Kiel GER - Day 1

Cool temperatures and a 3-4 bft breeze prevailed yesterday in Kiel GER on the first day of the 'YES'. All 10 classes - over 600 boats are on the entry lists - completed 1 to 4 races.
The 420 regatta is at the same time the 420 German National Championship and with 112 teams, this is the largest fleet, split in three Groups. After two races, the leaders are Konstantin Steidle/Tom Lembecke GER, winners of both races in their Group. Philipp and Jonas Royla GER follow 2 points behind. Third are at equal points Inge-Marie Hofmann/Henrike Leitl GER and Nick Zeltner/Till Seger SUI. The 420 ranking list.
The 470s sailed three heats and Frederike Loewe/Anna Markfort GER are the interim's leaders. In the 5o5s, the favorites Hunger/Kleinert GER won all three races.
