All classes, except the 420 continuing their International Championship today, concluded the YES on Kiel Bay yesterday. Fresh winds - up to 5 bft - prevailed and racing on the offshore circles had to be relocated inshore because of the too strong breeze.
In the 420, racing will remain exciting as the leading group is very closely together. Konstantin Seidle/Tom Lembcke GER and Philipp Jonas Royla GER are first at equal points. The best of the day Jan Lea Borbet GER advanced on rank 3 with the rank 1 and 2. Maxime Bachelin/Arno de Planta SUI, forced to abandon a race yesterday, stay on the 4th place with chances to reach the podium today. Morgan Lauber/Léo Tétaz SUI progressed on rank 7, Jann Schüpbach/Alec Hatebur SUI moved up on the 15th place.
For all other classes, the YES 2016 is terminated. Hunger/Jess GER are dominating firsts in the 5o5s, Schubert/Oettinghaus GER replaced the women's team Loewe/Markfort GER on top of the 470 in the last regatta. In the Lasers 4.7, Julia Buesselberg GER is on rank 1, in the Radials, Hanna Andersohn GER (women) and Jakub Halouzka CZE (men) are the winners and in the Standards, Max Wilken GER terminates on top. A leader change occurred in the 29ers where Adrien-Paul Farien/Mirco Klösel GER replaced Gwendal Lamay/Luke Willim GER on the first place. Svenja Thoroe/Karsten Bredt GER in the Pirates and Sverre Reinke GER in the Europes are the other winners.
