A-Cat - World Championship 2016 - Medemblik NED - Final results

The A-Cat World Championship on the Ijssel-Meer ended yesterday with two races. The outstanding Mischa Heemskerk NED won the first heat and could stay ashore afterwards having collected 7 bullets in 8 races ! No change on the podium with Darren Bundock AUS and Steve Brewin AUS earning Silver and Bronze. The best woman Carolijn Brouwer NED - ISAF World Sailor of the Year 1998, multiple World Champion in different classes and 'Team Magenta' Volvo Round-the-World racer - is 14th in her first international regatta on the A-Cat. Marcin Badzio POL on the 23rd place is the best non-foiler.
