A-Cat - World Championship 2016 - Medemblik NED - Final results, the Swiss

The A-Cat World Championship on the Ijssel-Meer ended yesterday with two races. The outstanding Mischa Heemskerk NED won the first heat and could stay ashore afterwards having collected 7 bullets in 8 races ! No change on the podium with Darren Bundock AUS and Steve Brewin AUS earning Silver and Bronze. The best Swiss Sandro Caviezel SUI finished the Championship on rank 12. The best woman Carolijn Brouwer NED - ISAF World Sailor of the Year 1998, multiple World Champion in different classes and 'Team Magenta' Volvo Round-the-World racer - is 14th in her first international regatta on the A-Cat. Marcin Badzio POL on the 23rd place is the best non-foiler ahead of Dominik Peikert SUI on the 28th position.
