Laser Standard & Radial - U21 European Championship 2016 - Split CRO - Day 2, the Swiss

Sun and fresh winds prevailed also on the second day of the Laser U21 Europeans, and all three fleets completed 2 races each.
In the Lasers Standard as at the U21 Worlds in Kiel, the duel between Jonatan Vadnai HUN and Joel Rodriguez ESP seems to continue. They occupy the top two ranks separated be one point only. Joan Cardona ESP follows on the 3rd place. Jonatan Vadnai HUN is also leading in the U19 rankings. Among the best of the day was also Nils Theuninck SUI, advancing on the 6th position thanks to a race win in his group. Luciano Antonietti SUI (rank 54) and Janik Roempp SUI (rank 58) have to improve their performance to make the Goldfleet of the 43 best.
In the Radials, the new leader is Sandra Lulic CRO 3 points ahead of Marie Barrué FRA. Anna Zelic CRO is now 3rd. Maud Jayet SUI could not quite follow the best and is now down on the 8th place, still an excellent result. Lucie Ben-Amor SUI is 16th.
