Best wind conditions prevailed on the Lago Maggiore off Maccagno during the Fireball Swiss Championship 2016 from Friday to Sunday with a thermal breeze of 2-4 bft each day. The European Champions Claude Mermod/Ruedi Moser RCO/SCOW lived up to their reputation finishing as superior winners with 9 of the 10 races sailed in their favor. Kurt Venhoda/Sonja Zaugg SVM earned Silver, Christina Härdi/Cedric Landerer DSSC Bronze.
