In light winds, the October Round of the Scarlino Match Race Series was sailed over the past weekend. The final was won by the Italian Laser Olympian Francesco Marrai ITA defeatomg Ettore Botticini ITA. Winner of the Petite Final was the favorite Antti Luhta FIN (World Ranking nbr 22). The Swiss team with Patrick Zaugg SUI TYC missed the semi final by a small margin finishing 5th of the 4 teams' group on rank 2 at equal points.
