GC32 - Extreme Sailing Series - Act 1 - Muscat OMN - Day 1, the Swiss

The Extreme Sailing Series 2017 was kicked-off yesterday in Muscat/OMN with Act 1 sailed in good conditions with an up to 15 kn seabreeze, and 7 races were concluded.
Adam Minoprio NZL and his 'SAP Racing Team' won three heats and took the lead ahead of Roman Hagara AUT with his 'Red Bull Sailing Team' just one point behind. Phil Robertson NZL, 'Oman Air', on 3rd has a 4 points' backlog. Another point back is 'Alinghi' with Arnaud Psarofaghis SUI on the 4th place. 'Team Tilt' with Sébastien Schneiter SUI had a slow start, but improved the performance during the day finishing 7th overall, only 3 points from rank 5.
