420 - Regata Nazionale - Riva del Garda ITA - Final results, the Swiss

The 420 Regata Nazionale on Lake Garda was concluded yestereday with three races sailed in a moderate 12 kn Ora. 120 teams, including a maximum of 10 non-Italian participants, were present at this first event of the 420 annual championship. Winners after 7 races were the locals Andrea Spagnolli/Kevin Rio ITA (Malcesine) with 4 race wins ahead of Edoardo Ferraro/Francesco Orlando ITA (San Remo). Elena Picotto/Franvesca Campri ITA (Peschiera) on the 5th place were the best girls. Solène Mariani/Maud Schmid SUI (Morges) finished on the remarkable 13th position (and 5th girls team) as best Swiss. A premature start in the second-last race impeded them from an even better result. Nick Zeltner/Till Seger SUI followed on rank 38, Morgan Lauber/Erwan Lamoureux SUI were 64th.
