Diam 24, J/80, var. classes - Spi Ouest - Quiberon FRA - Day 2, the Swiss

At the 'Spi Ouest' regatta, perfect conditions prevailed again yesterday four the numerous classes with sun and a 15-18 kn wind.
The Diam-24-Ttimarans completed 4 races. With two race wins, Mathieu Salomon FRA and his team took the overall lead. Bernard Stamm SUI descended on the 9th place, while Victor Casas SUI moved up on the 17th rank. Nelson Mettraux SUI follows as 26th.
In the J/80 fleet (66 participants), Jose-Maria Van der Ploeg ESP - Olympic Finn Champion 1992 - won 5 of the 8 races sailed so far.
