Laser Radial - Delta Lloyd Regatta - Medemblik NED - Final results

Inspite of the big lead of Manami Doi JPN before yesterday's Medal Race, the final outcome was fully open until the very end of the heat. After a completely flopped start, the Japanese woman was the backmarker of the fleet during the whole race and only a few yards before the finish line, she succeeded to advance on rank 9 just earning the 2 points to keep the lead. Marit Bouwmester NED won the Medal Race with a considerable advantage and finished only 2 points behind the Japanese as explained above. Silvia Zennaro ITA defended the Bronze Medal with a 2nd place in the last race.
