Star - Eastern Hemisphere Championship 2017 - Viareggio ITA - Final results, the Swiss

Light winds between 5 and 8 kn prevailed during the whole Starboat Eastern Hemisphere Championship and even worse disappeared on the final day of the event. Andy McDonald/Brad Nichol USA grasped therefore the title after 6 races ahead of Peter O'Leary/Robert O'Leary IRL at equal points and Diego Negri/Sergio Lambertenghi ITA. The World Champion Augie Diaz USA with Arthur Lopes USA missed the podium as 4th by one point only. On rank 5 follow Jean-Pascal Chatagny/Serge Pulfer SUI after an excellent serie including a race win ! Hubert Merkelbach/Brian Fatih GER/USA are 9th and Bernhard Seger/Walter Oess SUI 12th among the 66 teams from 19 nations.
