32-Catamaran - World Match Racing Tour 2017 - Marstrand SWE - Day 1, fleetrace qualifiers completed, sail-offs to define top-16 ahead, Eric Monnin SUI struggling

The Swedish World Match Racing Tour Round 3 began yesterday in Marstrand SWE with the fleetrace qualifiers. Split in three groups, 6 heats per fleet were completed.
Phil Robertson NZL, Chris Steele NZL and Torvar Mirsky AUS jointly lead in Group 1. In Group 2, Matt Jerwood AUS and Taylor Canfield ISV share rank 2. Ian Williams GBR is on top of Group 3. Eric Monnin SUI and his team were not up-to-speed and as last, they have another chance in the Sail-Offs to qualify for the Top-16. The all-female Team 'Magenta' of Sally Barkow USA with Nathalie Brugger SUI as Group-4th have missed the direct qualification by a small margin. They too have another chance in the Sail-Offs.
