The Qualification Series at the 470 Worlds in Greece were concluded with the freshest breeze so far, a 12-14 kn wind.
Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler SUI could not keep the pace of their previous races and with the day ranks 13/17/dnc, their chances for a Medal disappeared. They start to the Medal Race today from rank 7 and will reach their best ever result in a 470 World Championship so far, even with chances to move up on rank 5.
For the Swiss 470 men's teams, the Championship has ended. Sailing in the Silverfleet, Kilian Wagen/Grégoire Siegwart SUI have a disqualification and a premature start on their results sheet and finished the event on rank 7 of the Silverfleet (= 43rd overall). Yves Mermod/Cyril Schüpbach SUI and David Biedermann/Yann Schüpbach SUI terminated their first Worlds on the rank 48 and 59 among 72 teams.
