Class 40 - Les Sables-Horta - Leg 2 - Day 5

The wind forecast for yesterday was 25-30 kn from the West, but the reality brought gusts above 40 kn, and the 17 teams still in the race were chasing direction Les Sables at high speeds. This morning, Aymeric Chappellier/Arthur Le Vaillant FRA took the lead ahead of Pablo Santurde/Gonzalo Botin ESP 7 nm behind. Phil Sharp GBR/Adrien Hardy FRA remained on rank 3. Tomorrow around noon, the first Class 40 will cross the finishline of leg 2 in Les Sables.
