Laser Radial - Youth World Championship 2017 - Medemblik NED - Final results

Fresh winds prevailed also on the final day of the Laser Radial Youth World Championship on the Ijssell-Meer during the last two races. With the second discard activated, the rankings changed considerably.
Gold in the Boys went to Dimitris Papadimitriou GRE with ranks 1 and 2 yesterday resulting in a 27 points advantage overall with the second discard. Matias Dietrich ARG defended rank 2 by a small margin on Nicholas Bezy HKG new on the 3rd place. Josh Armit NZL with the same number of points had to content himself with rank 4, but he earned Gold in the U17-classification. Zac Littlewood AUS and Nico Naujock GER completed the U17 podium.
Gold for Hannah Anderssohn GER in the Girls' rankings 2 points ahead of Dolores Moreira Fraschini URU and Charlotte Rose USA, best of the day with the ranks 1 and 2, up on rank 3.
