The Flying Dutchman held their 2017 World Championship in Scarlino during the last September week. 9 races could be completed in good thermal breeze conditions around 16 kn. Szabolcs/Majtheniy HUN defended their title with a comfortable 16 pts lead ahead of Schwarz/Kirst GER on 2nd and the Olympic Silver medalists 1992 Bojsen-Möller/Bojsen-Möller DEN on rank 3. 102 (!) teams from 16 nations and 2 continents participated.
