The 2018 Star Class Western Hemisphere Championship, one of five Silver Star events of the Class, kicked off yesterday on Biscayne Bay. On a sunny day, the 37 Starboats from 9 nations completed two races with a great easterly breeze from 15 to 18 knots, both won by Lars Grael/Samuel Goncalves BRA. In the cumulative results , Lars Grael/Samuel Goncalves BRA are first ahead of Jorge Zarif/Guilherme De Almeida BRA and at some distance PeerVessella/Phil Trinter USA.
