Beneteau Figaro Transat AG2R Day 7
After the passage of the Canaries, the fleet is even more apart. The leading trio in the West has increased the lead on over 150nm, but the rest of the fleet will reach the fresh trade winds earlier and may well reduce the deficit substantially.
Adrien Hardy/Thomas Ruyant FRA were on rank 1 with an 11nm advantage on Sébastien Simon/Morgan Lagravière FRA this morning UTC. The all-female team Justine Mettraux SUI/Isabelle Joschke FRA/GER moved up another place and are now 8th with a 215nm backlog on rank 1. But their deficit on rank 4 is only 3nm.
