Laser - Euro Masters Series 2018 - Reichenau GER - Day 1, the Swiss

The German Round of the Laser Euro Master Series began yesterday on Lake Constance with three races sailed in a fresh and gusty wind.
In the Lasers Standard, Wolfgang Gerz GER (Finn-Worldchampion 1980) has taken the lead 5 points ahead of the tied Roger Schulz GER and Olaf Schulz GER. Beat Heinz SUI is on the remarkable 5th place among the 48 participants.
In the Lasers Radial, Thomas Büttner GER is first one point ahead of Dietrich Schilling GER. Beatrix Fontius GER follows on the 2nd place. The only Swiss on the entry list - Daniel Leibacher SUI - did not compete yesterday as a number of other athletes.
