Ultime - Route du Rhum - Total loss for 'Banque Populaire IX'

After 10 days towing across the rough Atlantic Ocean, the capsized Ultime Trimaran 'Banque Populaire IX' of Armel Le Cléac'h FRA arrived in Vigo. Early in the race, the port floater broke off, and in the recovery action back to the European continent, the 10-mio-worth multihull was damaged even more and must be considered a total loss.
