Sun and moderate winds prevailed yesterday at the Imperia Winter Regatta and two races could be held per class.
In the 470s, Malte Winkel/Matti Cipra GER defended their lead with a 4 points' advantage on Martin Wrigley/James Taylor GBR before the last races today. New on rank 3 are Borys Shvets/Pavlo Matsuyev UKR. Yves Mermod/Cyrill Schüpbach SUI are now on the 4th place. The best women's team among the 25 starters, Theres Dahnke/Birte Winkel GER, follows on the 5th position.
In the 420 open rankings, Alessandro and Frederico Caldari ITA have taken the lead ahead of Bozzano/Casano ITA and Steidle/ Honold GER. Nilo Schärer/Nik Burkhardt SUI, best of the Swiss delegation, dropped on rank 13. Achille Casco/Eliot Schick SUI follow as 18th among the 60 teams.
In the 420 Girls, Lucille Frascari/ Arianna Lanzetta ITA are the new leaders. Elise Leconte/Antea Mariani FRA moved up on the 2nd place. ont progressé au rang 2 at equal points with Elena Oddone/Francesca Riano ITA on 3rd. Sophie Mosegaard/Fiona Schärer SUI on 5th and Natascha and Samira Rast SUI on 8th remain well positioned.
