Optimist - Trofeo Optimist Italia - Crotone ITA - Final results, the Swiss

In Crotone, in the deepest South of Italy, Round 1 of the Italian Optimist Annual Championship was sailed with over 200 participants from 7 nations, among them the Optimist team of the YC Ascona. In best sailing conditions, 5 races were completed with the World Champion Marco Gradoni ITA as dominating winner, grasping 5 bullets in 5 heats. Davide Nuccorini ITA and Zou Schemmel FRA completed the podium. The best Swiss Shari Carrara SUI finished 56th, Federico Pericaro SUI 58th.
In the younger Cadetti (U12), Francesco Carrieri ITA was on top. Daphné Lupo SUI finished 28th.
