Giles Scott GBR extended his lead in the Finn Europeans on 15 points during the three races sailed yesterday in sun and a light but increasing wind in Athens GRE. New on rank 2 is the World Champion Berecz Zsombor HUN. Andy Maloney NZL is now on rank 3. A giant step ahead on rank 11 made Nils Theuninck SUI with the ranks 1/2/15 yesterday. He has taken the lead in the U23-rankging and - most important -, SUI occupies now the 3rd of 4 berths available for the 2020 Olympic Regatta in Tokyo. Anders Pedersen NOR (rank 9, 102 pts), Jorge Zarif BRA (rank 10, 103 pts), Nils Theuninck SUI (rank 11, 112 pts) and the 2016 Bronze medalist Caleb Paine USA (rank 12, 120 pts) are the lucky four for the moment. Ioannis Mitakis GRE follows closely behind with a 2 point backlog.
