After the two light-wind races concluding the qualification phase at the Laser Europeans in Porto POR, the Olympic Champion Tom Burton AUS moved on top of the Standards with the day ranks 1 and 2 in his group. Lorenzo Chiavarini GBR follows 3 points behind on 2nd. Eliott Hansen GBR is new on 3rd. The World Champion Pavlos Kontides CYP follows on rank 19. Eliot Merceron SUI on rank 45 is qualified for the Goldfleet, Nicolas Rolaz 117th and Cyrill Knecht SUI 158the will sail in the Silverfleet.
Anne-Marie Rindom DEN extended her lead in the Laser Radial women on 12 points. Tuula Tenkanen FIN - best of the day with the ranks 1 and 2 in her group - follows now on 2nd. The Olympic Champion Marit Bouwmeester NED advanced on rank 3. Maud Jayet SUI is on the way up and with the ranks 5 and 6 yesterday, she is now on 17th overall. Rosine Baudet SUI on rank 73 will continue the Championship in the Silverfleet.
Im the Lasers Radial men, Aleksander Arian POL is now first 3 points ahead of Marcin Rudawski POL. Andrea Crisi ITA on the 3rd place is the best U21 sailor. Erwan Lamoureux SUI won a race and is now 10th.
